About

Engineering with a product mind and an operator’s discipline.

I build software by connecting technical decisions to the people, workflows, and production realities they serve.

More than a decade with PHP and web software

My strongest and longest professional foundation is in custom PHP, Laravel, SQL databases, and Linux infrastructure. That work spans business-system development, legacy modernization, integrations, technical leadership, and product delivery from early planning through production support.

Experience as a Head of IT and server administrator shaped how I approach application engineering: deployment, observability, security, recoverability, documentation, CI/CD, and release validation are part of the product—not afterthoughts.

Current backend product development

Through BuildIQ, I am expanding that foundation with current product-development experience in Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React, and TypeScript. PHP has not been replaced; the newer stack is another practical toolset for products whose requirements benefit from it.

Kalveri is a personal umbrella project I use to organize and document independent software experiments and early-stage product work. It is not a company, employer, or commercial venture. Across these projects, I work on product direction, architecture, implementation, testing, security, and release evidence.

Practical breadth, clear priorities

I work across REST APIs, authentication and authorization, background processing, business rules, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, Linux hosting, Docker, Apache, Nginx, and GitHub Actions. WordPress, WooCommerce, and technical SEO remain supporting skills where they are the right fit.

AI-assisted, human-accountable

I use AI-assisted workflows to explore, review, and accelerate engineering work while keeping architecture, deterministic business rules, verification, privacy, and release decisions accountable to people.
